Many people have questions about In-Ovation® braces, so we made a list of commonly asked questions to get you started.

Why is the In-Ovation® braces system different?
The difference is in the hardware and wiring. Traditional braces use elastic ties with wires that hold the wire tightly in place. In-Ovation® braces are self-ligating, meaning that a clip is built into the bracket to hold the wire in place and control movement. This provides less friction and less discomfort for the patient.

How long can I expect to wear In-Ovation® braces?
Each case is unique; however, patients utilizing the In-Ovation® system have fewer appointments and treatment progresses much faster.

Will In-Ovation® braces hurt?
At the beginning of treatment, your braces may feel odd or different in your mouth; it usually takes a day or two to get used to but there shouldn’t be pain. Most patients are surprised at how little discomfort there is with this system. The unique design corrects alignment gently as opposed to the force you might experience with traditional braces.

Will the In-Ovation® System work for adults?
Everyone can benefit with the In-Ovation® system including adults. The system comes with multiple treatment options so we can address the needs of those requiring minor adjustments or those who need a more aggressive approach. In-Ovation® is more aesthetically pleasing than traditional metal braces.

How much does the In-Ovation® System braces cost?
The cost of the system will depend on your unique treatment plan and any insurance coverage. Our office will discuss this with you at your initial consultation and work with you to get the most out of your insurance benefits.
